The Engineering Manager would be accountable to sustain and enhance the Engineering function for the engagements. The individual would be accountable to ensure superior performance and delivery.
Lead a team of software engineers by providing both career guidance and technical vision for the products.
Lead and manage Confiance s engineering process, building software to empower engineering teams to develop and deliver high-quality products and code quickly.
Act as a sounding board and technical architect for the team, help define technical vision and strategy, and ensure that the technical direction of the team aligns with other teams across the company.
Responsible for project planning including identifying requirements, developing work plans, managing project budgets, building project schedules, and partnering with team members to determine and communicate functional and/or resource requirements.
Supporting, coaching, and developing high performing engineers through regular 1:1s, continuous feedback and relationships with team leads.

Required skills -

Strong skills with some of the back-end technologies we use: Python, NodeJS, ReactJS,
TypeScript, MongoDB, message queuing systems or Kubernetes, and some experience in using Docker.
Experience with large scale Architectural Patterns, event-driven Microservices, well-designed APIs, and efficient algorithms.
Experience with Restful API Design & Implementation.
