Engineer II - Software Development

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor/ Masters in Computer or similar discipline with minimum 4 years of professional experience in software development
• A passion for learning and communicating complex subjects clearly
• Strong knowledge in Java or Similar programming languages
• Experience in using different JS frameworks like React, Angular, Polymer etc.
• Experience in developing server-side app with Node.JS or other frameworks
• Advanced programming skills - Object Oriented Design with good analysis/debugging skills
• Belief in the power of TDD (Test Driven Development)
• Be capable of working with minimal oversight and be completely self-driven
• Exposure to Agile development environment
• Collaborate with cross-geographic teams for the development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiar with a structured professional coding environment: participating in code reviews, following standard revision control, bug tracking, and release practices

Good-to-have Qualifications

• Experience with automation tools (Jenkins)
• Experience with a modern revision-control system (Git or Mercurial)
• Experience with Eclipse or Visual Studio Code
• Good understanding on Microcontrollers
