WE RE HIRING | Encompass Loan Business Analyst Job Summary Key Responsibilities Business Analysis Requirements

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from mortgage stakeholders.
• Analyze current mortgage workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Create functional requirements and specifications for Encompass enhancements.
• Translate business requirements into Encompass configurations, workflows, and automation rules.

Encompass Configuration Support

• Configure Encompass business rules, custom fields, input forms, milestones, personas, and workflows .
• Support system enhancements, upgrades, releases, and integrations.
• Conduct and support UAT, functional testing, defect tracking, and resolution .
• Collaborate with Encompass Product Managers, Administrators, and technology teams during deployments.

Integration Vendor Support

• Support third-party mortgage integrations including:
  • Automated Underwriting Systems (AUS)
  • Credit Vendors
  • Compliance Engines
  • Document Providers
• Validate data mapping, system interfaces, and workflow alignment.
• Assist with troubleshooting integration and data-related issues.

Documentation Stakeholder Communication

• Maintain business process documentation and Encompass configuration guides.
• Prepare user guides, training materials, and functional documentation.
• Communicate system changes, enhancements, and process updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the mortgage industry across processing, underwriting, closing, funding, or LOS support.
• 2+ years of hands-on Encompass experience .
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end mortgage loan lifecycle .
• Experience with business requirements gathering and functional documentation.
• Knowledge of mortgage regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working with mortgage technology and Loan Origination Systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience configuring Encompass business rules and custom forms .
• Knowledge of mortgage reporting and analytics tools.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with project management and ticketing tools.
• Experience supporting Encompass integrations and system implementations.
