Role Overview:

As a Regional Sales Manager based in Lucknow, you will be instrumental in driving Emcure's commercial success within the assigned region. This pivotal role involves leading and inspiring a high-performing sales team to achieve ambitious sales targets and expand market share. You will be responsible for formulating and executing robust sales strategies, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders including healthcare professionals and distributors, and ensuring the effective implementation of promotional activities. Your strategic insights and leadership will directly impact the growth trajectory and market penetration of Emcure's product portfolio in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Area Sales Managers and Medical Representatives to consistently exceed regional sales objectives.

- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies tailored to the Lucknow region's market dynamics and competitive landscape.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and refine existing strategies.

- Establish and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare institutions, and channel partners to enhance brand visibility and product adoption.

- Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and expense management for the region, ensuring optimal resource allocation and profitability.

- Drive product launches and promotional campaigns, ensuring effective communication and execution across the sales team.

- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory compliance in all sales and marketing activities.

- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate ongoing training and development for the sales force.

Required Skillset:

- Extensive experience of 12-16 years in pharmaceutical sales, with a significant tenure in a sales management capacity, demonstrating consistent achievement of targets.

- Proven leadership capabilities with a track record of building, developing, and inspiring high-performing sales teams.

- Strong strategic planning and execution skills, capable of translating business objectives into actionable sales plans for the region.

- Exceptional analytical abilities to interpret market data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, from team members to senior management and healthcare professionals.

- A Degree in Pharmacy or Science is essential; an MBA or equivalent qualification in Sales/Marketing is highly preferred.

- Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical market dynamics in Uttar Pradesh, particularly the Lucknow region, including distribution channels and regulatory frameworks.
