Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate Embedded Software Engineer – IoT to develop, debug, and test embedded firmware for IoT-enabled products. This role involves building reliable, connected embedded solutions for next-generation EV applications, working with technologies such as Embedded C, STM32, ESP32, AVR, and various communication protocols including Wi-Fi, BLE, GSM/LTE. Candidates should have a strong understanding of embedded systems, microcontroller architecture, and debugging tools, with 2+ years of experience in embedded firmware or IoT development. This position is located in Noida.

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Embedded Software Engineer – IoT to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, debugging, and testing embedded firmware for IoT-enabled products. You will work closely with hardware, firmware, and system engineers to build reliable, connected embedded solutions for next-generation EV applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, debug, and optimize embedded firmware in C for microcontroller platforms such as STM32, ESP32, AVR, or similar.
  • Interface and configure peripherals including UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, GPIO, PWM, and CAN.
  • Integrate sensors, communication modules (Wi-Fi, BLE, GSM/LTE), and actuators into embedded systems.
  • Support hardware bring-up, board testing, and firmware validation.
  • Read and interpret circuit schematics, datasheets, and technical documentation.
  • Perform firmware debugging using tools such as logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, JTAG/SWD debuggers, and serial monitors.
  • Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following embedded software development best practices.
  • Prepare and maintain firmware documentation, test reports, and release notes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot system-level issues and ensure timely project delivery.

Requirements

Required Skills

  • Strong programming skills in Embedded C (C++ is an added advantage).
  • Good understanding of Embedded Systems and microcontroller architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with STM32, ESP32, AVR, or similar MCU platforms.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols including UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and GPIO interfacing.
  • Familiarity with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), GSM/LTE, and IoT connectivity concepts.
  • Ability to read electronic schematics and understand digital and analog circuits.
  • Experience with debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and serial debugging tools.
  • Familiarity with version control tools such as Git is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Embedded Systems, Instrumentation, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in embedded firmware or IoT development.
  • Internship or academic projects involving embedded systems, IoT devices, or connected products will be an added advantage.
