Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Electrical Maintenance: Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, motors, drives, and control panels.
- Installation: Install new electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with standards.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical faults and perform corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure reliability of plant equipment.
- ERP/SAP Reporting: Log maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and downtime in SAP/ERP systems.
- Safety Compliance: Follow electrical codes, plant safety standards, and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Collaboration: Work with engineers, supervisors, and production staff to resolve electrical issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of electrical diagrams, maintenance logs, and ERP entries.
Preferred candidate profile
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical Trade or equivalent.
- 24 years of experience as an electrician in industrial/manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of motors, drives, control circuits, and industrial electrical systems.
- Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment (basic understanding preferred).
- Experience with SAP/ERP systems for maintenance reporting.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
