Job Title: Electrician / Chiller & DG Operator

Qualification: ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Electrician with hands-on experience in Chillers, DG Sets, Cold Rooms, and Electrical Maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure smooth facility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Chiller Operations & Maintenance

• Operate and monitor chiller systems for efficient cooling performance.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Check refrigerant pressure, temperature, and system parameters.
• Identify and rectify minor faults in chillers and cooling equipment.
• Coordinate with service vendors for major repairs.

DG Set Operations

• Operate Diesel Generator (DG) sets during power failures.
• Conduct daily checks of fuel levels, coolant, lubricants, and battery conditions.
• Maintain DG logbooks and operational records.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply during emergencies.

Cold Room Maintenance

• Monitor cold room temperatures and humidity levels.
• Ensure proper functioning of refrigeration systems.
• Conduct periodic inspections of compressors, evaporators, and condensers.
• Attend breakdowns and carry out corrective maintenance.
• Maintain temperature records as per operational requirements.

Electrical Maintenance

• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults in motors, panels, lighting systems, and control circuits.
• Ensure proper functioning of electrical distribution systems.
• Follow electrical safety procedures and compliance standards.
• Maintain maintenance reports and service records.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of Chillers, DG Sets, Cold Rooms, and Electrical Systems.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of electrical safety practices.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in facility management, warehouses, cold storage, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
• Willingness to work in shifts and attend emergency breakdowns.
