EHS Head Vision Rx Lab Gurgaon

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced EHS Head to lead the Environment, Health & Safety function for our Vision Rx Lab operations in Gurgaon. The role will be responsible for driving a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, leading sustainability initiatives, and implementing world-class EHS management systems across all Gurgaon manufacturing labs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and implement Environment, Health & Safety programs aligned with corporate standards.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory, regulatory, and global EHS requirements.
• Drive risk assessments, incident investigations, emergency preparedness, and corrective action plans.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs to build a proactive safety culture.
• Monitor EHS performance through audits, inspections, and data analytics, ensuring timely closure of action items.
• Oversee fire safety systems, industrial hygiene, environmental monitoring, and workplace safety initiatives.
• Support sustainability reporting, environmental compliance, certifications, and statutory submissions.
• Partner closely with plant leadership to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement in EHS performance.

What We're Looking For

• 15+ years of experience in Environment, Health & Safety within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Diploma/PG Diploma in Industrial Safety or M.Sc. in Environmental Science with Industrial Safety certification.
• Engineering degree (B.E./B.Tech) preferred.
• Strong experience in manufacturing processes, EHS management systems, sustainability, risk assessment, process safety, fire safety, industrial hygiene, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven experience in leading EHS teams and partnering with plant leadership.
• Working knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, audit management, sustainability reporting, and environmental monitoring.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English and Hindi.
