Eh Safety Engineer

Role Overview

Incuspaze is looking for an experienced AGM EHS (Projects) to lead Environment, Health & Safety across commercial interior fit-out and Design & Build projects. The role will ensure safe project execution, statutory compliance, contractor safety, and implementation of EHS standards across all project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead EHS management across multiple commercial interior and fit-out project sites.
• Develop and implement project-specific EHS plans, SOPs, checklists, and safety standards.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
• Ensure compliance for high-risk activities including work at height, hot work, electrical work, lifting, scaffolding and material handling.
• Implement and monitor the Permit to Work (PTW) system across project sites.
• Ensure contractors, subcontractors, and vendors comply with Incuspaze EHS requirements.
• Review Method Statements, JSA/JHA, Risk Assessments and safety documentation before commencement of critical activities.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment at project sites.
• Monitor fire & life safety requirements during project execution.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses; conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and ensure timely CAPA closure.
• Conduct safety induction and training for contractors, supervisors, workers, and project teams.
• Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance across all project locations.
• Maintain EHS MIS, incident reports, audit reports, compliance trackers, and project safety records.
• Track and report project EHS KPIs to senior management.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, PMC, contractors, Design, Procurement and Operations teams.
• Ensure EHS compliance throughout the project lifecycle, from site mobilization to project handover.
• Drive a strong zero-incident and safety-first culture across project sites.

Qualification & Experience

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Diploma/Degree in Industrial Safety / Occupational Health & Safety / EHS preferred.
• NEBOSH / IOSH certification will be an advantage.
• 10+ years of EHS experience, with significant exposure to commercial interiors, Design & Build, office fit-outs or construction projects.
• Experience handling multiple project sites simultaneously is preferred.
