Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
Anchor and lead various campaigns for outreach, subscription etc., handle the communication and coordination for such initiatives
work closely with the editorial, design, photo and production teams to ensure timely release of the magazine and web stories
Assist in newsroom administrative tasks
Importantly, as a member of the editorial team, to be a keen observer and fast learner of Indian politics, culture and society
RequirementsCandidates should have completed graduation. They are expected to have at least 10 years of work experience in newsrooms/ publishing houses/ public relations. The applicant should demonstrate good language skills, sound judgment and an enthusiasm for The Caravan s mission.
The Delhi office is a small shop, with the environment of a start-up, and therefore requires team players with a willingness to be flexible. This is a part-time position. However, night, holiday, and weekend work may be required when the situation demands so.
