Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Patient Preparation: Explain test procedures to patients, attach monitoring electrodes, and position them safely for the diagnostic tests. [1, 2, 4]
- Test Administration: Perform ECGs, assist cardiologists with 2D Echo exams, and administer treadmill stress tests to monitor cardiovascular response to exercise. [1, 3]
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean, disinfect, and calibrate medical equipment, while reporting any technical malfunctions to biomedical engineers. [1, 2, 3, 5]
- Reporting & Documentation: Record clinical observations, analyze preliminary test data, and prepare detailed reports for the treating physician.
