Role & responsibilities Lead API integraon iniaves with external partners, brokers, TPAs (Third Party

Administrators), and distribuon ecosystems for general insurance products.

• Collaborate with internal business and technology teams to understand insurance

workflows (policy issuance, claims, endorsements, renewals, payments).

• Design, develop, and manage REST APIs to support partner onboarding and real-me

integraons.

• Define integraon standards, governance, and best pracces, ensuring high availability,

performance, and scalability.

• Work closely with enterprise architects and DevOps engineers to deploy APIs securely in

cloud environments (preferably GCP)

• Implement API monitoring, logging, and error-handling frameworks to ensure partner

integraons are robust and fault-tolerant.

• Ensure compliance with IRDAI data security, privacy, and audit requirements.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor integraon engineers, and contribute to API lifecycle

management.

• Act as the primary technical liaison between the insurance company and external

technology partners.

Key Requirements Educaon & Cerficates

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informaon Technology, or a related field.

• Prior experience working with general insurance companies on partner integraon

projects.

• Knowledge of insurance core systems (policy admin, claims, underwring).

• Cerficaons in API Management, Cloud Architecture, or Integraon plaorms.

• Experience in microservices architecture and event-driven systems.

• Strong analycal and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communicaon and collaboraon abilies.

• Proacve, self-driven, and detail-oriented.
