Arya Designs is a growing residential design studio specialising in custom floor plans, home extensions, granny flats, and multi-dwelling developments. We work with clients across Australia to bring their dream homes to life through precise, thoughtful drafting.
The Role
We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsperson to join our remote team. You'll be responsible for producing high-quality architectural drawings for residential projects from concept through to construction documentation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Drafting residential floor plans, elevations, sections, and site plans
- Preparing construction documentation packages (Drawing Sets)
- Interpreting design briefs and translating them into accurate technical drawings
- Revising drawings based on client and team feedback
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of drafting experience in residential architecture or building design
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (both are essential)
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods and standards
- Ability to work independently, manage your own time, and meet deadlines
- Good English communication skills for remote collaboration
- Experience with Australian residential projects is a strong advantage
