Job Description
Senior Backend Developer (.NET + Azure + Microservices) Core Backend Development
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in developing REST APIs using ASP.NET Core
- Strong experience in Microservices Architecture (minimum 3+ years)
- Hands-on experience in SQL scripting, database design, and data modeling
- Experience in integration of multiple systems/products
- Proficiency in data structures, SOLID principles, exception handling, and design patterns
- Experience in building reusable services and .NET libraries
Cloud & Azure Expertise
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Azure Cloud (provisioning, configuring, deploying applications)
- Strong experience with Azure services:
- Compute & Hosting: Azure Functions, Container Apps, Virtual Machines, Static Web Apps
- Networking & Security: VNets, Subnets, Azure RBAC
- Integration & Messaging: Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs
- API & Gateway: APIM, Gateways
- Storage & Config: Storage Accounts, App Configuration, Key Vault
Event-Driven & Messaging Systems
- Experience with event streaming systems such as Kafka / Azure Service Bus
- Understanding of event-driven architecture patterns
DevOps & Infrastructure
- Strong experience in Docker containerization
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) for orchestration
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning (IaC)
- Strong experience in CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions/Workflows
- Experience in creating reusable CI/CD workflow templates (backend, frontend, DB)
- Experience managing self-hosted build agents/runners
Scripting & System Knowledge
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Linux and Bash scripting
- Basic understanding of web application deployment, configuration, and secret management
Code Quality & Security
- Experience integrating code scanning and quality tools such as:
- SonarCloud
- Coverity
- Black Duck (BDH/BDBA)
Other Requirements
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong problem-solving and system design skills
