DM/MGR - Infotainment System

Infotainment system Specification Creation, Hardware, Software specification creation, Vehicle Layouting/Packaging, Development with supplier & internal stakeholders, Part & vehicle validation/testing, 3 rd party Certification, Schedule management

Responsibilities:

• Create Infotainment specification, high level features & deployment
• Create following specifications w.r.t. Infotainment:
• Request for Information (RFI)/Request for Quotation (RFQ)
• Control Spec/Hardware spec/Software spec
• End Customer specific test/abuse cases
• Study of competitors models to identify New Technology/Deployment in MSIL models
• Infotainment Layouting/Packaging in vehicle
• Coordination with business partners for development of Infotainment & deployment in multiple models
• Schedule management inline with vehicle schedule

Technical/ Functional:

• Profound experience in Electrical & Software design & development
• Hands on experience in development of Electrical/Electronic components with business partners
• Good understanding on Hardware & Software architecture, OS (AAOS, Linux), HW components (SoC, Memory...), Interface with other vehicle ECUs (DCM, BCM, IPC..)
• Hands on experience of Infotainment CAN stacks, OTA functionality implementation
• Hands on experience in creating Requirement requirements for Infotainment (BT, Wi-Fi, Voice Assistant, HMI etc.) from end customer perspective
• Profound knowledge on infotainment peripheral parts [Mic, Antenna, Speakers etc.]
• Profound experience for 3 rd part certifications (Wireless Android Auto, CarPlay, Alexa).
• Hands on experience in testing infotainment parts at bench & vehicle level
• Hands on experience of bug identification & resolution for Electrical & Software issues
• Should have a natural zeal to understand technology trends in various cross-functional domains such as consumer electronics etc.

Desirable:

Experience in creating automated HIL script for bench level evaluation

Educational Qualification

Essential:

• B.E / B. Tech in EEE/ECE
• Minimum 60 % marks

Desirable:

• M.Tech in EEE/ECE
• Minimum 60 % marks
