Job Description
Knowledge of manufacturing processes for mechanism parts ( sheet metal,door latch, regulator, sunroof, plastic &Rubber )
>Evaluation and failure analysis of assemblies like door latch, regulator, sunroof, sheet metal , Plastic and Rubber
>Technical guidance to vendors along with project management and monitoring
>Process know-how for technologies like plastic molding, stamping, welding, riveting, painting, plating
>Part & process evaluations for new product development
>Analysis of part quality issues & countermeasure planning
>New product development activity planning
>Planning for zero-defect production lines at vendors
>PFMEA and required actions planning with vendors
>Advance Quality Planning for new parts development
>Analysis of part quality issues & countermeasure planning for mass production models
>Knowledge of plastic and mechanism parts inspection and testing
>Expertise in checking fixture & assembly fixture design, concept generation, and validation
>Good understanding of plastic and sheet metal material specifications and usage areas
>Root cause analysis for defects and countermeasure implementation
>Practical application of Quality Control Tools (SPC, Analytical tools, Six Sigma)
>Working knowledge of tools/dies and inspection aids (gauges, jigs, fixtures, test rigs)
>Clear and effective communication skills
>Ability to work in a lean, multitasking environment
>Ability to handle products and situations independently
