Job Description
Skills Required:
8-10 years of experience in Information Security with a strong focus on Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
- Hands-on experience with:
- Microsoft Purview Information Protection
- Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Sensitivity Labels
- Information Rights Management (IRM)
- Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE)
- Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (CASB)
- Strong understanding of:
- Data Classification and Data Governance
- Data Protection and Information Security Controls
- Incident Investigation and Remediation
- DLP Policy Creation, Tuning, and Optimization
- Insider Risk and Data Exfiltration Scenarios
- Experience working with cloud-based security architectures and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Knowledge of enterprise data protection frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with data governance and protection solutions such as:
- Varonis
- Proofpoint Information Protection
- Symantec DLP
- Forcepoint DLP
- Hands-on experience with PowerShell, KQL, or security automation.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Security Ecosystem.
- Experience supporting compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and NIST.
- Microsoft Security, Purview, SC-400, SC-200, or related certifications preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
