Digital Marketing Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic **Digital Marketing Executive** with 13 years of experience, preferably in a social-first role. The ideal candidate should be passionate about creating engaging digital content, have a good understanding of social media platforms (including **X**), and be comfortable designing creatives, editing short-form videos, and supporting digital marketing initiatives. Basic experience with website updates and SEO is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

- Social Media

* Create, schedule, and publish content across **Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube**, and other relevant social media platforms.

* Develop engaging posts, reels, stories, short-form videos, and platform-specific content.

* Stay updated with social media trends, platform features, and emerging content formats.

* Monitor comments and messages and respond where appropriate.

- Graphic Design

* Design social media creatives, posters, banners, flyers, brochures, and promotional materials.

* Ensure all creatives follow the organization's brand guidelines.

- Video Editing

* Edit reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, testimonials, and event highlights.

* Add captions, transitions, background music, and simple motion graphics to enhance engagement.

* Use video editing tools such as **VN Editor, InShot, Filmora, DaVinci Resolve**, or similar software.

- Content Creation

* Write captions, social media copy, and basic promotional content.

* Assist in creating blogs, newsletters, and marketing collateral when required.

- Digital Marketing Support

* Assist in executing online marketing campaigns for admissions, events, and institutional promotions.

* Support email and WhatsApp marketing activities.

* Help maintain consistency across digital marketing channels.

- Website & SEO

* Update website content, images, and announcements as required.

* Assist with basic on-page SEO activities such as optimizing page titles, meta descriptions, image alt tags, and content formatting.

* Work with the team to keep website information current and accurate.

- Event Coverage

* Capture photos and videos during institutional events.

* Create and publish event highlights, reels, and post-event content for social media.

Required Skills

* 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media marketing, or a similar role.

* Good understanding of Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

* Proficiency in Canva for designing digital creatives.

* Experience with video editing tools such as VN Editor, InShot, Filmora, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.

* Good written and verbal communication skills.

* Basic knowledge of website content management systems (such as WordPress) and SEO fundamentals.

* Creative mindset with good attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

* **Willingness to learn new digital marketing tools, content formats, and platform updates to continuously improve skills.**Role & responsibilities

Preferred Skills

* Knowledge of Meta Business Suite.

* Basic understanding of SEO and Google Analytics.

* Experience with Meta Ads or Google Ads is an added advantage.

* Photography and videography skills are a plus.
