In this hybrid role, you will design, develop, and deploy machine learning and statistical models tailored specifically for Supply Chain optimization.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of core data science methodologies (Python, ML, Forecasting) alongside specialized domain expertise in Supply Chain Management.
You will be responsible for translating complex supply chain challengesranging from demand volatility to inventory and route inefficienciesinto scalable, data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement end-to-end Data Science solutions focusing on Demand Forecasting, Inventory Optimization, Route Optimization, and Process Control.
- Apply rigorous statistical methods including ANOVA, MANOVA, and Statistical Quality Control (SQC) to analyze process variations, validate model assumptions, and improve manufacturing/supply chain predictability.
- Partner with business teams to apply Lean methodologies and continuous improvement principles, using data to eliminate waste and streamline operations.
- Build, train, and deploy models at scale utilizing Databricks and cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Collaborate with enterprise teams to ingest data and deploy insights into core supply chain planning platforms such as SAP APO, OMP, Blue Yonder, or o9 Solutions.
- Act as the bridge between technical engineering teams and supply chain business stakeholders, translating complex algorithmic outputs into actionable business strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Advanced proficiency in Python and standard data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, SciPy, Statsmodels).
- Strong hands-on experience with regression, classification, time-series forecasting, and clustering algorithms.
- Deep expertise in ANOVA, MANOVA, hypothesis testing, and Statistical Process Control (SPC / SQC).
- Familiarity with linear programming, mixed-integer programming, or heuristic optimization for routing and inventory problems.
- Proven experience working within Databricks environments and cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Exposure to or integration experience with enterprise tools like SAP APO, OMP, Blue Yonder (JDA), or o9 Solutions.
- 3+ years of dedicated experience within the Supply Chain domain (Logistics, Demand Planning, Manufacturing, or Warehousing).
- Understanding of Lean methodology, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement frameworks.
- Excellent communication and visualization skills, with the ability to explain complex statistical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Total Work Experience (TWE): 3 - 7 years of relevant industry experience.
Relevant Experience (RE): 3 - 7 years specifically in Data Science and Machine Learning.
- Bachelors, Masters, or Ph. in Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
