Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevSecOps Lead / DevSecOps Engineering Manager to drive secure software delivery, cloud infrastructure governance, and automation initiatives across multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP). This role will lead the DevSecOps function, embed security throughout the SDLC, and ensure resilient, compliant, and high-performing cloud-native platforms.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in CI/CD, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud security with proven leadership experience in building and mentoring high-performing engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead and mentor the DevSecOps team, providing technical direction grounded in secure SDLC practices.
• Define DevSecOps strategy, aligning security, reliability, and deployment velocity objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase deployment frequency, reduce failure rates, and optimize mean time to recovery (MTTR).
• Lead incident response readiness, post-incident reviews, and remediation tracking across infrastructure and applications.

CI/CD & Secure Delivery

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) with embedded security controls.
• Integrate automated security scanning, compliance checks, and policy-as-code enforcement into pipelines.
• Champion threat modeling and secure design reviews across services such as Azure Static Web Apps, Azure AI Foundry, and microservices running on GKE.

Cloud & Infrastructure Management

• Oversee multi-cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP) with focus on:
• Azure Virtual Networks and hybrid connectivity
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters
• Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) workloads
• Azure Container Apps
• Cloudflare connectivity and edge security
• Coordinate Cloudflare Zero Trust, WAF, and CDN policies to protect ingress points across Azure and GCP environments.
• Design and manage high-availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.

Infrastructure as Code & Automation

• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Azure Bicep.
• Enforce policy-as-code and governance controls.
• Drive automation of manual processes using Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
• Develop scripts and modules leveraging Azure CLI, gcloud CLI, AWS tooling, and cloud SDKs to deliver repeatable and auditable workflows.

Containerization & Orchestration

• Manage Docker-based containerization and Kubernetes orchestration platforms including:
• AKS
• GKE
• Azure Container Apps
• Bespoke on-prem clusters
• Govern Kubernetes components including kube-apiserver masters, worker nodes, etcd durability, and HAProxy front ends.
• Implement container image security, runtime protection, and governance best practices.

Monitoring, Observability & Security

• Establish system monitoring, logging, and alerting across:
• Azure Monitor
• GCP Cloud Operations
• Prometheus, Grafana
• ELK, Datadog
• Integrate security telemetry and observability to surface reliability and risk signals.
• Enforce compliance with data protection standards, regulatory requirements, and security best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 610 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or Cloud Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing technical teams.
• Hands-on expertise with:
• Azure, AWS, and GCP cloud platforms
• AKS, Azure Virtual Network, Azure Container Apps, Azure Static Web Apps
• Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
• Cloudflare edge security
• CI/CD tooling with pipeline security integration
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Bicep)
• Configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• Docker and Kubernetes (including control-plane, worker nodes, etcd, HAProxy)
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
• Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
• Solid understanding of networking, application security, and distributed system architecture.
• Proven track record implementing DevSecOps best practices, vulnerability management, and secure coding initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as:
• Azure DevOps Expert
• Google Cloud DevOps Engineer
• AWS DevOps Engineer Professional
• Experience with microservices architectures and service mesh security.
• Exposure to SRE practices (error budgets, reliability risk management).
• Experience designing high-availability and disaster recovery architectures.
• Practical exposure to Azure AI Foundry or similar AI platforms with governance over model security and data privacy.
