DevOps Lead

Job Summary

We are on a quest to find an innovative and technologically driven DevOps Lead for our thriving SAAS platform. The individual we are seeking has a penchant for continuous learning, is fascinated by technology, and brings a minimum of 3 years of experience with a robust understanding of both development and operations. This role requires an independent thinker who will be pivotal in implementing our CICD best practices, managing our server stack, and overseeing the operational strategy and design of our platform, ensuring optimal performance and unrivaled uptime.

Responsibilities

• Deep knowledge of CICD pipelines and best practices.
• Experience in managing and interacting with a development team.
• Skilled in managing server stacks and monitoring application loading.
• Proficient in system security measures and implementing platform strategy.
• Expertise in platform design, implementation, and performance tuning.
• Proven experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Extensive experience with MongoDB administration, including sharding, clusters, and HA proxy.
• Familiarity with Nginx, Docker, Kubernetes design, and implementation.
• Solid understanding of Gitflow and server load balancing.
• Hands-on knowledge of autoscaling, network infrastructure upgrades, server, device, and firewall installations.
• Proficiency in monitoring server performance and ensuring hardware and software efficiency.
• Strong scripting abilities in Python, Shell, and RAID configuration.

Leadership Skills

• Ability to train and mentor a DevOps team, supervising operations to maintain 100% application uptime.
• Experience in log monitoring and application performance tuning.
• Exceptional problem-solving and team management skills.
• Excellent communication abilities to collaborate with various stakeholders.
