Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building, maintaining, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and overall DevOps practices. You will leverage your expertise in Terraform, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), Docker, and Kubernetes to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our applications and services. Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, primarily with Terraform.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery, testing, and deployment processes.
• Implement and manage containerization technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes, for application deployment and orchestration.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability of our platforms.
• Implement and maintain robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Drive automation initiatives to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency.
• Ensure solutions adhere to security best practices and compliance standards.
• Contribute to platform improvements, documentation, and engineering best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in DevOps, cloud, and containerization.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure and CI/CD.
• Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP experience is a plus).
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Azure Monitor).
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Collaborative, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience working with Azure Cloud/GCP/AWS in a DevOps environment.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Istio, Terraform, and Terraform Cloud.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Azure Monitor).
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Collaborative, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
