Devops Engineer

Associate DevOps Engineer

You will work within a multidisciplinary team comprising Directors, Managers, Project Leads, Associates, Analysts, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Software Engineers. Depending on business needs, you may also collaborate with other industry practices including Retail, Financial Services, TMT, Energy, and Healthcare.

What You'll Do

As an Associate – DevOps Engineer, you will:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable, automated application and data platform deployments.
• Build, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Azure to support scalable, secure, and highly available systems.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or CloudFormation.
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate workloads with Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and performance issues across development, staging, and production environments.
• Collaborate with software engineering and data teams to streamline development workflows and improve deployment efficiency.
• Implement infrastructure security, compliance standards, and DevSecOps best practices.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Support release management, environment management, and platform reliability across multiple projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
• Strong experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM Templates, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, system architecture, cloud security, and infrastructure best practices.
• Experience using Git and collaborative software development workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DevSecOps practices and infrastructure security.
• Exposure to cloud cost optimization and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Linux system administration.
• Experience supporting data engineering or analytics platforms is a plus.
• Cloud certifications (AWS or Azure) are desirable.
