DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing Azure infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles, along with expertise in cloud security best practices. Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) is essential. Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash, and knowledge of server-side programming languages (C#, Java) are highly valued. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform as Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC). This includes developing and maintaining reusable Terraform modules, and automating the provisioning, scaling, and management of cloud resources.
• Monitoring cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency, troubleshooting operational issues, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring high availability and disaster recovery configurations.
• Implementing cloud security best practices and compliance standards, conducting regular audits and reviews of infrastructure and Terraform code, and managing identity, access, and policy enforcement in Azure.
• Integrating Terraform modules into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with cloud architects, DevOps teams, and development teams to align infrastructure with business needs.
• Creating and updating documentation for infrastructure designs, processes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cloud engineering or a similar role, with specific experience in designing, implementing, and managing Azure infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency with Terraform and IaC principles, and a deep understanding of Azure cloud services and features.
• Expertise in cloud security best practices, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and experience with scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Knowledge of server-side programming languages (C#, Java).
