Hands-on experience with Node. js and frameworks like Express. js or NestJS
Experience building and consuming REST APIs
Good understanding of asynchronous programming, promises, and event-driven architecture
Familiarity with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
Knowledge of Git and version control workflows
Understanding of HTTP protocols, middleware, and API security
Basic knowledge of Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
