Location: Hyderabad, India Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days per week in office

About the Role

We are looking for a Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will take ownership of features from requirements through delivery, working across a mix of modern and legacy systems. You thrive in an environment that values autonomy, results-driven work, and clear communication.

Technology Tools

You will work across multiple projects with varying stacks. Core technologies include:

Category Technologies Backend .NET (C#), Entity Framework, SQL Server, Oracle Frontend Angular (various versions), TypeScript, HTML/CSS Legacy VB.NET, VB6, Classic ASP, ODBC-based systems DevOps Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Azure DevOps Database SQL Server, Oracle, Entity Framework migrations

You are not expected to be an expert in every technology listed. Prior experience with at least .NET and one frontend framework is required, along with a demonstrated ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Your Role Responsibilities - Heres What Youll Do

• Build and maintain features across backend and frontend, collaborating directly with the product team from functional specs through delivery
• Debug and troubleshoot production issues independently, including within legacy codebases you did not originally write
• Write meaningful automated tests (unit and integration) before submitting code for review
• Conduct code reviews for peers, providing constructive and specific feedback
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements, build automation, and deployment processes
• Identify technical debt and propose well-justified refactoring strategies to improve long-term code health

Role Essentials - What Youll Need

• Experience with .NET (C#) and at least one frontend framework (e.g., Angular)
• Proficiency with SQL Server or Oracle and relational database concepts
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, and Docker
• Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and modify legacy codebases (VB.NET, VB6, Classic ASP)
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical decisions and progress clearly

What Wed Like to See - Preferred Skills

• Experience with Entity Framework and managing database migrations
• Familiarity working in both Windows and Linux development environments
• Experience with test automation frameworks and continuous integration tools
• Knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
