Desktop Support Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join our team at PRGX India Pvt Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing technical support and troubleshooting desktop-related issues.

Roles and Responsibility

• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop-related issues, including hardware and software problems.
• Provide technical support to employees, assisting with desktop-related queries and concerns.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, and other computer systems.
• Conduct regular maintenance tasks, such as backups and updates, to ensure system integrity.
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Develop and implement procedures for desktop support, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Requirements

• Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems, including Windows and macOS.
• Experience with desktop hardware, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
• Strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with both technical and non-technical staff.
• Ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with helpdesk software and ticketing systems is an advantage.
