Job Description
Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer
Location: Dadra & Nagar Haveli
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral support.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, email, and application-related issues.
- Handle user support through a ticketing tool (ManageEngine) and ensure timely closure of incidents and service requests.
- Install and configure desktop applications, antivirus, and software updates.
- Perform system formatting, OS installation, data backup, and restoration.
- Configure and troubleshoot printers, scanners, biometric devices, and other peripherals.
- Support Active Directory user account management, password resets, and access-related issues.
- Assist in network connectivity troubleshooting (LAN/Wi-Fi).
- Coordinate with OEM vendors for hardware warranty and repair activities.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
- Follow IT policies, security guidelines, and SLA commitments.
