Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will provide first-level technical support to end-users, maintain hardware and software systems, and ensure seamless daily operations across desktops, laptops, and related IT equipment.
Key Responsibilities:-
Provide technical support for desktop systems, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals.

Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and software applications.

Respond to support tickets, emails, and calls, and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related problems.

Perform system upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance.

Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory, Office 365, etc.

Set up new users workstations and equipment.

Document support issues, solutions, and processes in the helpdesk system.

Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets.

Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and software support.

Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.
