Roles and responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D models for underground utility networks using Autodesk Civil 3D . Model wet and dry utilities , including storm drainage, sanitary sewers, water distribution, gas, and telecom.
- Generate plan, profile, and cross-section drawings for construction and regulatory approvals. Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts using tools like Navisworks .
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate representation of existing and proposed conditions. Maintain model integrity and ensure as-built conditions are accurately reflected.
- Work within multi-user environments using cloud platforms (ACC, ProjectWise).
- Customize object styles, label styles, pipe network styles , and configure part lists as per project requirements. Support data management through shortcuts and drawing references. Qualifications
Qualifications Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering , Civil Technology , or a related field.
- 5 - 10 years of experience in Civil 3D utility modeling .
- Proficiency in AutoCAD , Civil 3D , and Navisworks .
- Experience with ACC , BIM 360 , or ProjectWise .
- Strong understanding of municipal infrastructure standards and construction documentation .
