About the Role

CapGrid is looking for an experienced Design Head with a strong background in the Fasteners industry. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in designing and developing fasteners and should currently be working with a reputed fastener manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of fastener products.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Develop innovative fastening solutions based on customer and industry requirements.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and production teams to ensure smooth product development.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and customer specifications.
• Drive product improvements, cost optimization, and value engineering initiatives.
• Mentor the design team and oversee end-to-end design activities.

Candidate Requirements

• 10–20 years of experience in the Fasteners industry.
• Mandatory: Candidate must be from a Fastener manufacturing company.
• Strong expertise in fastener design, engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and product development.
• Excellent understanding of engineering standards and quality requirements.
• Leadership experience in managing design projects and teams.
