Deputy Manager/Manager - Costing - Managing API Plant Costing from Head Office

Job Responsibilities:

Costing:

- Product Costing, Standard Costing & Variance Analysis

- Preparation of product-wise profitability statements with detailed customer-wise performance reports

- Implementation of cost accounting system in SAP as per Cost Accounting Standards & Norms

- Driving cost improvement & reduction initiatives in processes

- Identification of cost centres process-wise and product-wise

- Preparation of Cost Audit Reports and coordination with Cost Auditor

- Monthly stock valuation for MIS and stock statements (Quantity & Value)

- Physical stock verification and reconciliation with SAP records

- Submission of detailed stock valuation and physical verification reports to auditors; resolving stock-related queries

Monthly Information System (MIS Reports) & Budget:

- Monthly/Annual reconciliation of costing profit with book profit

- Preparation of monthly batch-wise yield reports

- Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets (department-wise and company-wide)

- Monitoring actual production norms vs. budgeted norms with variance analysis and explanations

- Monitoring actual expenses vs. budgeted expenses monthly

- Establishing and maintaining budgetary control

- Capex budget allocation and monitoring in SAP
