Deputy Manager - Security

Purpose/Objective

The role of Lead - Security at Adani within the Thermal power industry requires a seasoned professional with significant experience in security management. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in safeguarding the assets and personnel of the organization, ensuring a safe and secure work environment. As a Lead - Security, you will be responsible for developing and implementing security policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, coordinating security measures, and managing security personnel effectively.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to ensure the safety of the organization's assets and personnel - Conduct regular risk assessments and recommend security enhancements as needed - Coordinate with internal stakeholders to address security concerns and develop appropriate solutions - Manage and oversee security personnel, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations - Monitor security operations to ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations - Investigate security incidents, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures - Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other external partners during security incidents - Stay updated on security trends, threats, and best practices to proactively enhance security measures

Technical Competencies

Qualifications and Experience

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management, preferably in the Power plant - Experience in security management - Strong leadership and decision-making abilities - Knowledge of security protocols and technologies
