Deputy Manager - Operational Risk

Job Summary:

Primary role is to support the implementation of policies and processes to maintain an effective operational risk framework, ensuring strong operational resilience. This role involves providing independent and effective second-line assurance of operational risk controls to protect the organization's assets, reputation, and sustainability. A continuous learner who is self-driven, team player and zeal to ensure resilience with knowledge on Life Insurance Processes

Role & Responsibilities:

• Oversee Operational Risk Events & Issues, including root-cause analysis, remediation tracking, and closure assurance
• Monitor and report Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Control Indicators (KCIs) risk events, and action plans, with timely escalation of material risks
• Support in driving focused Thematic Reviews to identify emerging risks, control gaps, and process weaknesses
• Partner with business stakeholders to strengthen process governance and control ownership

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• MBA or Equivalent Degree with 3+ years' relevant experience
• Knowledge of Operational Processes in Insurance Industry
• Prior experience in Operational Risk Management or in Business Operations processes is desirable
