Job Description

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop, implement, and monitor Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and standards at the project site.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory requirements, local regulations, and company safety guidelines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Lead safety induction programs, toolbox talks, awareness campaigns, and training sessions for employees, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor work permits, high-risk activities, and safety compliance during construction activities.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare reports and implement preventive and corrective measures.
  • Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities on EHS-related matters.
  • Ensure proper implementation of emergency preparedness and response plans, including mock drills and evacuation procedures.
  • Monitor environmental compliance related to waste management, pollution control, water management, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Maintain EHS documentation, records, statutory registers, and compliance reports.
  • Drive a strong safety culture and promote continuous improvement in workplace safety performance.
  • Track and report key EHS performance indicators to project and management teams.

Desired Candidate Profile


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Science from a recognized institution.
  • Full-time Diploma / Degree in Industrial Safety, Construction Safety, Environmental Management, or equivalent qualification.
  • 1012 years of relevant experience in EHS management within the Real Estate, Commercial Building, High-Rise, Mixed-Use, or Large Construction Projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, legal compliance requirements, and environmental regulations.
  • Experience in managing contractor safety and implementing EHS management systems.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, training, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in preparing EHS reports, audits, risk assessments, and compliance documentation.
