APM Terminals
Role Overview-
- A Data Entry Operator is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in computer systems and databases.
- The role requires attention to detail, basic computer knowledge, and good typing speed.
Role Responsibilities-
- Responsible for Invoicing and complete order desk management from Chennai Yard.
- Coordinate with the HO for the machine arrivals, GRN and import documentation.
- Complete Inventory Count and management of Machines, Attachments and Consumbles. Purchase order Releases for both Machines & Attachments & Consumables for Imports & Local Vendors under the supervision of S&O P Manager.
- Coordinate with HO for Tier 2 Supplier Purchase Order to Delivery and GRN for the Special Attachment Business.
- Record Management Timely customs Clearance of Import machines & attachments.
- Efficiently managing imports containers from different Plants in cost effective manners. FIFO management for attachments & buckets.
- Price release for the sales codes with S&OP Manager.
- Managing the WH for In & Out bound operations. Handling Letter of Credit transaction Import & Export.
Required Experience & Skills-
- BCOM / MCOM Good typing speed and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Attention to detail. Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills.
- PG Diploma in Logistics Management - 0-2 years of experience in data entry or similar roles (freshers may also apply)
