Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Forecasting & Demand Planning
- Develop, manage, and continuously improve short-, mid-, and long-term demand
- forecasts.
- Utilize statistical models, historical data, market insights, and cross-functional
- inputs to produce accurate demand forecasts.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and implement corrective actions to reduce errors and
- bias.
Supply Planning & Alignment
- Translate demand forecasts into supply requirements to ensure product
- availability.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to align supply
- with demand.
- Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities in supply planning and propose actionable
- solutions.
- Monitor and maintain secondary stock in all the channels to anticipate the sales increase
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to incorporate
- business intelligence into demand plans.
- Lead the monthly S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process and present
- demand outlooks.
- Act as a key liaison between commercial and supply chain functions to align
- strategies.
Data & Process Management
- Maintain planning tools and systems, ensuring data integrity and usability.
- Develop dashboards and KPIs to track forecast accuracy, service levels, and
- inventory performance.
- Drive continuous improvement in demand and supply planning processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related field (Master s
- preferred).
- 3 7 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or related
- functions.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in forecasting tools and ERP
- systems (SAP, APO, Oracle, etc.).
- Advanced Excel and data visualization skills; experience with statistical forecasting
- methods is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
