Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain Guidewire applications and integrations.
- Participate in end-to-end Guidewire implementation and enhancement projects.
- Configure and customize Guidewire applications based on business requirements.
- Develop and maintain Guidewire integrations with internal and external systems.
- Work extensively with Guidewire Cloud Platform and cloud-based deployment models.
- Develop solutions using GOSU and Guidewire best practices.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, testers, and client stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and project planning.
- Support deployment activities and post-production issue resolution.
- Ensure adherence to development standards and quality guidelines.
Required Skills :
- 8+ years of overall IT experience.
- 5+ years of Guidewire implementation experience.
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire Cloud.
- Strong expertise in at least one or more Guidewire products :
1. PolicyCenter
2. BillingCenter
3. ClaimCenter
- Strong hands-on experience with :
1. GOSU
2. Guidewire Data Model
3. Guidewire Integration Framework
4. Cloud-based Integrations
- Knowledge of Guidewire Cloud architecture and deployment models.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in distributed and onshore-offshore delivery models.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills :
- Guidewire Certifications.
- Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain experience.
- Experience with REST APIs, SOAP Services, and third-party integrations.
- Understanding of Event-Driven Architecture.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices.
Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
