Job Description
We are in search of a strong Developer who is technically passionate, solution-focused, and able to contribute to design, development, test automation and hardening (security, stability, deployment) of our in-house-developed pricing & risk components.
As a Software Engineer you will:
Design and implement complex new functionality with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and involving large data sets.
Technical Sills required to succeed in this role:
- Must be fully aware of ETL development and various stages of ETL pipeline.
- Must be very good with SQL, able to write complex queries, stored procedures.
- Must be good with database and should be able to do data analysis.
- Hands-on in atleast 1 programming language - Java or Python.
- Good understanding of Spark SQL.
- Understanding of GCP, ETL integration with GCP or Azure/AWS or other cloud provider.
- Understanding and basic experience on BigQuery, Looker.
- Understanding and/or experience on DBT (Database build tool).
- Familiarity with git, CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Good to have domain knowledge on Financial Markets, Financial Instruments, Trading, EOD Risk.
- Excellent communication skills.
