Job Description
- MySQL DBA with Unix/Shell Scripting
- Strong proficiency in MySQL database management
- Decent experience with recent versions of MySQL.
- Understanding of MySQLs underlying storage engines, such as InnoDB and MyISAM.
- Experience with replication configuration in MySQL.
- Knowledge of de-facto standards and best practices in MySQL.
- Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements.
- Knowledge of limitations in MySQL and their workarounds in contrast to other popular relational databases.
- Knowledge of Linux and shell scripting.
- Advanced knowledge on developing Shell scripts.
- Ability to use tools like awk, sed, grep etc.
- Minimum work Experience of 0-1 year in related field
- MCA, BE IT, BE. Computers, B Tech, MSC Computers, MCM, BE. ENTC, BCA (Computer Grads) or equivalent.
- Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related scientific or technical discipline
