Performance Tuning. Backup solutions involving RMAN and veritas / Legato Database upgrades Performance tuning and security Management ( access privileges ) Capacity planning (Identify the usage pattern and suggest improvement in performance) and Change Management Configuring Database Replication Troubleshooting problems on Database, cluster and replication Fault Management and Data Management Process for data backup and restoration SQL Plus, PL/SQL and s hell scripting.
Escalation to vendor and coordinate for incidents needing vendor support. Database Space Management. Table Space Management. Knowledge on queries/forms. Installation and reinstallation of Oracle / SQL and other databases. Performance Tuning.
