Database Administrator

Job Summary

We are looking for a Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and maintain the organization's business-critical databases, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and disaster recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL databases.
• Manage SAP ERP, AEGIS, and MES databases.
• Perform database backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery.
• Monitor database performance and optimize queries.
• Manage Always On, Clustering, and Replication.
• Handle database security, user access, and patch management.
• Monitor database health and resolve production issues.
• Support application deployments and database changes.
• Automate routine database administration tasks using SQL, PowerShell, or Python.
• Support Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives.

Required Skills

• 4 to 6 years of Database Administration experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Experience in Performance Tuning, Backup & Recovery, AlwaysOn, Clustering and Replication.
• Knowledge of AWS/Azure databases is an added advantage.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
