Job Designation: Data Scientist
Job Description: Wcities is looking for Data Scientists for Mumbai location with an advanced degree in a quantitative or engineering discipline such as Computer Science and Operations Research from a leading institute. In addition to a strong academic record, Data Scientists must have 4+ years of work experience analysing data and creating analytical solutions to business problems. He/She should enjoy working in a team-based environment and possess outstanding problem-solving skills, professional work ethic and integrity. In addition, must have deep hands-on expertise of the following:
Candidates must have expertise in the machine learning area and Artificial Intelligence .
Statistical and data mining techniques- Regression, clustering, trees, random forest, gradient boosting, ANN
Candidate should be proficient in the following and aware of their real-world advantages/drawbacks:
Programming & statistical modelling languages- Python and R
Database query/ distributed computing: SQL, Spark, MySQL, etc.
