Job Description
- We are looking for a Data Scientist. A Data Scientist is a professional who uses analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect large data sets.
- They develop data-driven solutions explicitly tailored toward the needs of an organization.
- Undertaking data collection, preprocessing and analysis.
- Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes.
- Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns.
- Present information using data visualization techniques.
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst.
- Experience in data mining.
- Knowledge of R, SQL and Python; familiarity with Scala, Java or C++ is an asset.
- Strong math skills (eg statistics, algebra).
- Experience using business intelligence tools (eg Tableau) and data frameworks (eg Hadoop)
