Summary: As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights. You will work with complex datasets, build predictive models, and collaborate with various teams to support data-driven decision-making. Your expertise in analytics engineering, coupled with your proficiency in pandas data frames and dictionaries, will be essential in optimizing our data processes and deriving meaningful conclusions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large and complex datasets to extract actionable insights and support decision-making processes.
- Develop, implement, and maintain predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
- Utilize pandas to manipulate, analyze, and visualize data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Design and implement data pipelines and ELT processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Create dashboards and reports using Metabase to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in data science, AI and analytics engineering.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Python, with extensive experience using pandas.
- Familiarity with dictionaries and other data structures in Python.
- Experience with data visualization tools, particularly Metabase.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
- Ability to write efficient SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in building and deploying machine learning models in a production environment.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of other programming languages like R or Julia
- Experience with other data visualization tools and libraries.
