Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis and Modeling:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of large, structured and unstructured datasets to extract meaningful insights and identify patterns, trends, and correlations.
- Develop and deploy predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical methodologies to solve business problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, data cleansing processes, and data analysis frameworks.

2. Data Visualization and Reporting:
- Communicate findings effectively by creating meaningful visualizations, reports, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Utilize data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI, to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards on various metrics and KPIs to track the performance of key business areas.

3. Statistical Analysis and Experimentation:
- Design and execute controlled experiments to test hypotheses, analyze results, and provide recommendations based on statistical significance.
- Perform A/B testing, clustering, and segmentation analysis to identify customer patterns and behaviors, ultimately contributing to data-driven decision-making.

4. Machine Learning and Algorithm Development:
- Utilize machine learning algorithms, including regression models, decision trees, random forests, and neural networks, to create predictive models.
- Collaborate with Engineering and IT teams to integrate models into existing systems or develop new platforms for deployment.
- Continuously explore and stay updated on cutting-edge tools and techniques within the field of data science to drive innovation within the organization.

5. Data Strategy and Planning:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop data strategies to meet the organizations goals.
- Identify and propose new data sources, tools, or frameworks that enhance existing data infrastructure.
- Contribute to data governance processes, ensuring the security, privacy, and integrity of data within the organization.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors/Masters/PhD degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with experience in using data manipulation and analysis libraries (eg, pandas, numpy, scikit-learn).
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts, machine learning algorithms, and data modeling techniques.
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
- Solid knowledge of big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or Hive, is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, along with the ability to effectively communicate and present complex data analysis to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
