Role Description:

As a Data Scientist, you will work with a cross-functional team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, data engineers, analysts, and DevOps engineers within the Clinical Data Science team. The role focuses on developing and deploying production-grade machine learning models and scalable data science solutions to support predictive analytics for clinical trial planning and execution.

Required Qualifications

• Master s degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, STEM, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 5+ years of experience in production-grade data science, including model development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Strong Python programming skills with libraries such as:
  • scikit-learn
  • TensorFlow / Keras / PyTorch
  • pandas
  • scipy
  • Flask or FastAPI
• Experience working with large and complex datasets, including data cleaning and preprocessing.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly S3 and SageMaker.
• Understanding of software development practices, including Git, code reviews, and testing.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Familiarity with AWS services such as ECS, EC2, API Gateway, ECR, and DynamoDB.
• Experience with Docker or containerization technologies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and MLOps practices.
• Exposure to life sciences, healthcare, or pharmaceutical data.
