Data Scientist & Data Manager

This role is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining data critical to investment decision-making. The individual will handle both primary and secondary market data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely availability of information to the Fund Management team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procure, validate, and update conventional and unconventional data required for fund analysis.
• Normalize and standardize large data sets to ensure consistency and comparability across systems.
• Oversee data storage, retrieval, and quality checks to support research, portfolio management, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Fund Managers and Analysts to ensure data integrity for model building and investment decisions.
• Work with external data vendors and internal technology teams for smooth data flow and integration.
• Prepare data summaries and reports to support performance review and market analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal data governance standards and regulatory guidelines. Manage and maintain investment-related data from multiple sources (primary and secondary markets).

Required Skills Competencies:

Qualifications Experience:

• Graduate / Postgraduate in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 3 7 years of experience in data management or data analytics within the BFSI sector (preferably in a Mutual Fund, Asset Management, or Broking firm).
