Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Data Science Trainer to deliver high-quality classroom training to engineering and technical graduates. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Data Science, Machine Learning, and related technologies, along with the ability to simplify complex concepts and make them accessible to students. Experience in a training institute or EdTech company is a significant advantage and will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, structured classroom training sessions on Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, and related technologies.
• Develop and maintain an industry-aligned curriculum covering the complete Data Science lifecycle data collection, preprocessing, EDA, feature engineering, model building, evaluation, and deployment.
• Resolve student queries promptly and effectively during and after class sessions, ensuring strong conceptual clarity.
• Design, prepare, and conduct weekly tests and assessments based on the training syllabus; evaluate student performance and provide constructive, actionable feedback.
• Track individual student progress, identify learning gaps, and deliver targeted remedial support where required.
• Conduct hands-on, project-based training sessions using real-world datasets to build practical, job-ready skills.
• Guide students through end-to-end capstone projects and assist them in building industry-relevant portfolios.
• Collaborate with the curriculum team to keep course content updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices.
• Maintain attendance records, performance reports, and all required training documentation.
• Participate in batch planning, demo sessions, and student counselling activities as required.

Good to Have

• Prior industry experience in a Data Science, AI, or ML role before transitioning into training.
• Experience training freshers or students from engineering / technical academic backgrounds.
• Familiarity with LMS platforms and online or blended learning delivery methods.
• Published projects, Kaggle competition experience, or open-source contributions on GitHub.
• Relevant certifications such as Google Professional Data Engineer, IBM Data Science Professional, Microsoft Azure Data Scientist Associate, or equivalent.
