About the Role

We are Indias leading political consulting organization dedicated to providing high quality professional support for political campaigns. Duties and Responsibilities

Ability to understand a problem statement and implement analytical solutions & techniques independently or with minimal supervision
Identify and understand the KPIs, areas of opportunity, trends of the matrices of the on-going projects and recommend actions to the respective stakeholders to help them drive their projects
Develop advanced algorithms that solve problems of large dimensionality in a computationally efficient and statistically effective manner
Execute statistical and data mining techniques (e.g. hypothesis testing, machine learning and retrieval processes) on large data sets to identify trends, figures and other relevant information
Produce regular reports and analysis, write systems queries to gather data, perform data mining and analysis using tools including advanced MS Excel, Python/R, Oracle BI and Cognos to identify trends and develop forecasts, as well as identify opportunities for cost savings and quality improvements
Contribute to the evaluation of emerging datasets and technologies that may contribute to our analytical platform
Collaborate with business, product and technology teams to implement projects
Defining configuration specifications, business analysis requirements and perform quality assurance

Requirements

Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or a related discipline from a reputed institute.
Relevant experience of 0-2 years in the field of analytics/data science, designing and implementing statistical models and reporting systems using automation tools
Knowledge of big data/advanced analytics concepts and algorithms (e.g. text mining, social listening, recommender systems, predictive modeling, etc.)
Technical capabilities (Hands on) : SQL, Advance Excel, Data visualization and knowledge of programming (eg Java/Python/R)
A keen eye for aesthetics and details
Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
Degree in Design, Fine Arts or in a related field is a plus
Candidates with proficiency in multiple languages preferred
